COURSE OVERVIEW

This Nationally Accredited Training course is 100% online and can be completed when it is convenient for you. On successful completion you will receive a Statement of Attainment and wallet card.

The course is available for those who have completed their RIIWHS202E Enter and Work in Confined Spaces or RIIWHS202D Enter and Work in Confined Spaces training within the past 8 years have maintained their skills, knowledge, competency and need to renew in line with industry and workplace standards.

This unit describes the skills and knowledge required to Enter and Work in Confined Spaces in the resources and infrastructure industries.

The normal course fee is $140 P/P and is currently on special until the end of this month for $126 P/P. (No additional costs apply)

Providing all entry requirements will ensure we can validate your evidence as quickly as possible, once validated and complete we will unlock your online course you will then have full access to your online course 24/7.

Provide a copy of your VET Transcript complete with QR Code listing either RIIWHS202E Enter and Work in Confined Spaces or RIIWHS202D Enter and Work in Confined Spaces issued within the past 8 years. Refer VET Transcript section below for further instructions.

We can’t use your old Certificate/ Statement of Attainment/ Wallet card as evidence for your previous course VET Transcript with QR code only.

Provide your valid USI (Unique Student Identifier) number when completing your enrolment. Refer Unique Student Identifier (USI) section below for further instructions.

Provide a clear copy of your valid ID front and back. This can include your (Driver’s License, Proof of Age card, or Passport.

Be a minimum of 18 years of age.

Declare you have maintained your skills, knowledge, competency for this course since completing this course within the past 8 years.

READING:
Identifies and interprets information from workplace procedures, documentation, and regulations.

WRITING:
Produces and completes written documents required for workplace procedures.
Maintain records of tests and results.

ORAL COMMUNICATION:
Uses a range of communication techniques and systems to communicate with others.
Communicate required actions.

INFORMATION TECHNOLGY:

Ability to use a computer, laptop, tablet, smartphone. Ability to obtain VET Transcript complete with QR code. Ability to send and receive emails.

If English is a second language for participants or has any concerns with Language literacy and or numeracy or any other learning challenges or needs, you should discuss with the administration team prior to enrolment and trainer assessor prior to the course commencement.

It will take you between 2 and 4 hours to successfully complete each unit of competency.

You are required to complete this course in full within 60 days of Registration.

To complete your online course, view the online training material, and answer the learning questions as you go. You will then need to complete your online assessment activities.

The course can be completed over as many sessions as you need, and your work is saved as you go.

Learning and assessment include:
· Short answer questions.
· Written multiple choice questions.

On successful completion of this course, you will receive a Statement of Attainment for RIIWHS202E – Enter and work in confined spaces and a wallet card. This course is Nationally Accredited Training our RTO Registered Training Organisation number is 45735.

As this is an online course you will need either a computer or mobile phone, or tablet with internet access you will also need an email address unique to yourself, two students can not share the same email address.

You will also receive a complimentary PDF version of the learning material and a copy of the AMS Student handbook.

The AMS Training student handbook is made available to all future students prior to enrolment. It’s located under the student info tab found in the top navigation bar. Your VET Transcript lists your previous nationally accredited training it commenced 1/1/2015 so if your training was completed before 1/1/2015 it will not show on your VET Transcript.

When getting your VET Transcript be sure to set a viewable date this will ensure the QR code is displayed allowing AMS Training to verify your evidence is true and correct.

To download your VET Transcript, complete with QR code go to the USI Student Portal and follow the instructions.

If you need help to download your VET Transcript complete with QR code, please call the USI Team on 1300 857 536 you will need to request a copy of your VET Transcript advise them it needs to include your QR Code and ask them to email it to yourself. Once received email us a copy.

A USI is your individual education number for life. It also gives you an online record of your VET, Vocational education and training undertaken in Australia. Students must have a unique student identifier (USI) to obtain their nationally accredited Statement of Attainment.

To apply for a USI number, go to www.usi.gov.au. If you have undertaken any VET training since 2015, you may already have a USI. Find it now https://www.usi.gov.au

On successful completion of this course, participants will be issued an AQF certification. Training and assessment are provided in line with all Registered Training Organisation obligations including but not limited to providing quality training and assessment outcomes & complying with the standards for RTOs 2015.

A NEW ONE STEP PROCESS

Once you complete the online enrolment & payment arrangements, we email each student a link to complete their enrolment and their course. We’ll advise you when each student completes their course and the result.
